Meet your Therapist

Caitlyn Brown, LISW-S

I'd love to walk with you through exploring your past, present, and future to be able to be in the moment and feel all your feels. As a mama & step-mama myself, I particularly love connecting with other parents & identifying realistic ways to be mindful without 'meditating' and 'journaling' that I know you don't have time for in this culture of go, go, go.

Originally from Northwest Ohio, attended Ohio State University for bachelors in Anthropology. Peace Corps Volunteer in Ukraine 2010-2012. Obtained Masters of Social Work from OSU. Experience in schools, non-profit eating disorder center, adventure therapy, camp leadership, and environmental education.

When I am not working, I’m spending most of my time with my husband, step daughter, two daughters and son. We enjoy laughing, singing, dancing, and spending as much time outside as possible!

Caitlyn is currently accepting clients that are self-pay or insurance for telehealth or in person during day-time hours (9-4).

Scott Nicola, LISW-S

Scott is currently accepting new clients for online therapy and limited availability for in person sessions. He is currently working on credentialing with insurance companies, but is available for self pay clients immediately.

I have 25 years of experience practicing with a wide range of populations. My areas of competency include mental health, assessment and treatment, crisis intervention, school social work, group therapy, and practice with diverse populations.

When not working, I enjoy hiking, camping, gardening, foraging, singing karaoke, reading, and spending time with my wife and three kids.

I find working with those in helping professions like healthcare, education, and social work to be extremely gratifying. Many are called to this work because they are empathetic and find it meaningful and fulfilling. Sometimes we spend so much time and energy caring for the needs of others that we fail to make time for our own self care and opportunities for wellness. I offer supportive therapy tailored to help people utilize their unique qualities and skills to bring comfort, healing and equanimity to their own lives.

Sarah Mooney, Masters of Social Work Intern

My name is Sarah Mooney, and I am a first year Master of Social Work student at The Ohio State University. I recently graduated from University of Dayton in May 2023 with my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Social Work. I will be doing my field placement here at Wild Blooms Wellness and I am excited to learn more about the field and working with individual clients, couples, and groups. My goal is to become a therapist for adolescents, young adults, and adults and use therapeutic techniques like CBT and EMDR to work through some of life’s difficulties. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and cats, traveling, skiing, and hiking.

Sarah will be taking a small case load of self-pay clients at a very reduced rate beginning in the Summer 2024.
