Online Anxiety Therapy in Ohio

Does a voice in your head keep insisting you're never enough, no matter how much you do? Maybe you're the one everyone leans on, the parent, the partner, the go-to friend, quietly running on empty while anxiety tells you there's no time to slow down? Whether this sounds like you, or maybe you have these concerns for your teen- I’m for you!

I offer daytime telehealth sessions, so therapy can fit into a lunch break or a quiet hour at home. Making space for your own needs isn't selfish. It's how you keep showing up for the people you love, including yourself. The best part about telehealth means less commute and less time missing school or work for a session!

Together we'll notice the unhelpful thoughts that keep you stuck, reframe them without dismissing what you feel, and build practical tools for anxiety, burnout, and low self-esteem. I've also spent years working inside schools, & I especially enjoy supporting teens and young adults through school anxiety, avoidance, or online and alternative schooling.

I’m pretty chill…

I believe therapy is for everyone and it should feel like a comfortable and safe space. Therapy works best when it feels like a real conversation (humor included please), not a clinical checklist.

I love gratitude

It’s not what it sounds like- no toxic positivity here! There is always an “AND”. It may be a hard moment AND the sun is still shinning, or that coffee was really great. I challenge you to not only explore the difficult things but appreciate the good as well.

Some things only have as much power as you let them have.

On a personal note..

Outside of sessions, I’m deep in the beautiful chaos of the baby and toddler years. My own coping strategies usually involve baking something delicious, getting some fresh air, planning a beach vacation or constantly battling golden retriever glitter (fur). I’m big on glimmers and gratitude.

I’m dipping my toes into private practice at Wild Blooms Wellness while holding down my community mental health role part time.

The funnest of facts: Caitlyn and I met in grad school. Together we’ve navigated growing up, starting out as baby therapists, dating, getting married and having babies. Now I’m joining her in the quest to provide support to other anxious souls like me.

Professionally-

I have my BA in Psychology from Wittenberg University. From there I went straight on to grad school at The Ohio State University. I got my Masters in Social Work. Since then, I have been working as a school-based therapist for our local children’s hospital. It’s been an intense ride, with no school year ever looking the same. I’ve honed my skills in CBT, Motivational Interviewing, DBT skills, occasionally the latest teen lingo or fidget obsession and always the humor it takes to survive my days in an elementary school.
